Week 5.  Friday, December 7, 2012.

This sisterhood of felons is far craftier than originally thought.  It appears they have infiltrated the international banking industry.  The trail has led to unnumbered Swiss bank accounts and charges of illegal trading of high end art on the international commodities market.  It is assumed that Regula “Babyface” Scheifele spearheads this branch.

Regula (also known as Lulu) is a long time member of the Hilton Head gang and has recently joined an elite splinter group, the Hilton Head Four.  We do not know their true purpose but speculate that it involves creating original art and selling or trading it across international borders.   Lulu travels frequently under the guise of mild mannered artist to workshops or vacations in exotic destinations.  Her goal is ‘establishing individual connections’ and ‘transporting emotions’ which we suspect are for nefarious purposes.  She is often reported being in the vicinity when  shooting happens and we have heard rumours that the “Snoopy Guys” have become targets.  She must be apprehended and removed from the beaches.

Week 4 - Brenda "The Designer" Pruitt

Week 4, Friday, Nov. 30 - We got a call from a citizen in distress in Kentucky who needs our help.  It appears she (and others) have been shot with a new canon (SX50 possibly).  She survived the assault and identified the perpetrator as Brenda "The Designer" Pruitt.  This woman may look harmless and tries to convince people she spends her time painting her grandchildren and redecorating interiors.  However, she is not to be trifled with.  This woman knows where the bodies are buried (at least her husband does).  She must be apprehended asap to keep others from being victimized.  We need likenesses to post on the internet to alert the public.  Your assistance is appreciated.

Week 3 - Kim "The Scoop" Rosser

Week 3, Friday, Nov. 23 - Black Friday and word of a sinister crime had come to my attention.  Kim "The Scoop" Rosser was seen at the infamous Gelati Celesti in Richmond, Va. stuffing children with (gasp) homemade pumpkin gingersnap ice cream.  These children were already stuffed with turkey making this even more evil.  She has also been know to depict family members as chickens and been observed ruthlessly cropping the faces of associates before embalming them in paint.  She must be stopped.  The likenesses below need to be distributed widely to warn people of the perils of the ice cream parlor.

Week 2 - Laurie "Smooth as Silk" Pyszkowski

Week 2 - the mugshot of Laurie "Smooth as Silk" Pyszkowski.  Received notice that another Hilton Head perpetrator had been spotted in Virginia.  Laurie "Smooth as Silk" Pyszkowski is known to plaster seaside graffiti on fabric and display it at bazaars and in boutiques.  Do not approach, you could end up with a turtle on your scarf.  This is a particularly heinous crime so your help in disseminating this information to aid in the apprehension of this felon is appreciated.

Week 1 - Karin (Quickdraw) Jurick

Week 1 - the mugshot of the notorious (and oh so talented) leader, Karin (Quickdraw) Jurick.  Known to hangout in Atlanta, Georgia, she is often seen criss-crossing the country with her furry companions converting non-believers.

ALL POINTS BULLETIN - ARTISTS AT LARGE.

The story you are about to read is true.  Only the facts have been changed to protect the innocent.

A group of mysterious felons has been spotted once again on Hilton Head Island.  They are under the direction of the notorious ringleader – Karin “Quickdraw” Jurick.  Some of the faces are familiar to Hilton Head Islanders but most were unknown until recently.  They meet, create havoc than slip away into the hinterland.  They seem to be able to cross international borders at will.

These are professional con (wo)men often extorting funds from the unsuspecting public in exchange for small boards covered with paint.

Do not approach.  They are deceptively dangerous.  They have been seen shooting photos at random without warning then blending into the local population.  They are also known to slash canvas with palette knives and wrench paint caps off with pliers.  They are well-organized, enthusiastic and creative.

A select group of artists have been asked for their help in identifying these individuals and making them known to the world.  Photoshop makes photographs notoriously unreliable so their assignment was as follows:

Once a week they will receive a mugshot of one of these perpetrators.  They have one week to paint a likeness of that person in a 4” x 4” format, photograph the painting and email the photo to me.  I will post the photographs here as they arrive.  We need to identify these perps and their work and make them known to the public.  Everyone is asked to help with this task by posting a link to their blogs, websites, etc. and telling their friends.

This is one of the most challenging cases I have ever encountered. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
